Neil, I use Paint Shop Pro version 6... it is an ANCIENT program, I bought it in 1999.  But as you can see, I can still make some pretty decent graphics with it.  And, even though I have read the manual and have been using it on a regular basis since I bought it, I STILL discover new things that I can do with it that I didn't know before.  This program was an absolutely terrific piece of programming, one of the best $100 I ever spent.
