Anyone going to this show?
I just checked the venue's site and it looks like there are
a lot of seats still available.  In fact it looks like over half
the house is still unsold and the concert is tomorrow.

Now is certainly the time for someone to pick up some good seats!  Are you going to this one, Justme?

Yes, I got center orchestra, row B for less than the usual price.
It is a very good time to get tickets.

There are 10 tickets for this show (not the best seats) on Ebay now for $15 each.

I wish I could write as eloquent a review as you all seem to be able to do. Having seen the show at woodstock less than a week before, I must say there was certainly a difference sitting that close. To be able to see the expressions on their faces throughout was pretty awesome. Our seats at Wodstock were off to one side, and quite a bit farther away, so I missed alot that night. 2nd row more than made up for it. One thing I will say, is the reworking of Orinoco Flow gave me goosebumps. I only wish I had a recording of that version..... And again I wish I could write a review as well as some of the others I read here. And thanks again to justme for inviting me along again....

Having attended the PNC Center with JustMe2, I would like to add a few comments.
I think I've seen Celtic Woman 6 times through the years. {A novice compared to most of you.}
But I've never seen them from 2nd row, center orchestra, aisle seats until now. It brings the
viewing pleasure to a whole new level. i could never understand comments made on this forum about making
eye contact with the girls as they sang. My seats were usually too far away to even see their eyes. For instance
fifth row balcony at Radio City a few years ago. Try making eye contact from that distance, and yet the show was enjoyable
as are all Celtic Woman shows. After last Thursday's show, I can tell you emphatically that I am now spoiled and will have
a difficult time sitting anywhere other than up front. I only hope my finances will cooperate.
The show was fantastic as usual. I've never seen a bad show. There really isn't too much to say about it that hasn't been
posted here already. Every show has enough differences, no matter how small, to make each one seem fresh and new.
And there's always something you notice that you missed from the last show you saw. What made this particular outing so
special for me was seeing everything up close for the first time. Being able to see the pure enjoyment in each girl's face
as she sang or played her song is an experience I can only hope to repeat. They really do love what they do.
The crowd was on the small side and a little slow to warm up, but after a solo by Mairead they were much more responsive.
She really knows how to get the crowd going. In fact, after YRMU, security had to get several people to return to their seats
because they were standing in the aisles right in front of the stage. Reminded me of rock concerts from years gone by. Funny,
that would have been more appropriate at Bethel Woods.
I agree with JustMe2 in hoping that CW will re-release the new arrangements of some of the older songs like Orinoco Flow.
Unfortunately for me I have seen my last SFTH concert this year. I simply cannot afford to travel beyond the east coast. Having
managed one M&G this year I had my program signed by Mairead and Lynn. I was wondering if any forum members still attending
shows with M&G's would be willing to take my program along for the ride in the hope of getting Lisa and Chloe's signatures.

Yes it is a considerably different show experience close up and yes I am spoiled as many others are. It simply isn't worth it for me to travel as I do and not be within eye contact range. Yes, feel free to send either MrPeabody (who is closer to you) or me your program and we will endeavor to get it signed later in the tour. He has one more show than I do so maybe better odds.

Thanks for the extra details about your experience; it's an entirely different show when you're up close.  Once you go front, you can't go back!
I may have to do like I did in Roanoke and buy the whole front row in Philly next year.  Broke 1

I just had things I had to take care of. It was a huge disappointment believe me. Next tour I will be much more organized. Until the "Forum" experience they were just a group of wonderful entertainers that I loved. Now they have truly become a part of my life.
